Online Loyalty & Rewards (coffeeangel.com only)

1. Overview

Coffeeangel’s Online Loyalty & Rewards programme is for purchases made at coffeeangel.com only.
It is completely separate from our café loyalty programme, and rewards cannot be shared between the two.

  • Online rewards = store credit for use on coffeeangel.com.

  • Café rewards = café loyalty points collected at the till in our cafés.

2. How to join

You don’t need a separate card or sign‑up form for Online Loyalty & Rewards.

  • Create an account at coffeeangel.com.

  • Place any online order while logged into your account.

  • You’re automatically enrolled and will begin tracking your online spend towards rewards.

Guest checkout orders will not collect rewards, so we always recommend creating or logging into your account before placing an order.


3. Welcome bonus (online only)

To thank you for trying Coffeeangel online, new online customers receive a welcome store credit.

  • Earn €5 welcome credit on your first online order over €25 (excluding shipping).

  • Your welcome credit is issued once your order is marked as paid and is valid for 60 days from that date.

  • This welcome credit can only be used on coffeeangel.com and cannot be redeemed in our cafés.

From when does the welcome bonus apply?

The welcome bonus is part of our new online rewards system and applies to first online orders placed on or after 10 February 2026. Orders placed before this date are not eligible for the welcome bonus, but existing customers may receive separate “thank you” credits from time to time.

If your first order is cancelled or refunded in full, the welcome credit will also be cancelled.


4. How you earn online rewards

Once you’re enrolled, you earn store credit based on your lifetime online spend (on coffeeangel.com) excluding shipping and discounts.

You move through three online spend tiers:

  • Tier 1 – €250+ total online spend

    • Earn 5% store credit on eligible online orders.

  • Tier 2 – €500+ total online spend

    • Earn 7.5% store credit on eligible online orders.

  • Tier 3 – €1000+ total online spend

    • Earn 10% store credit on eligible online orders.

How it works in practice:

  • Your online lifetime spend is calculated automatically from completed orders on coffeeangel.com.

  • As soon as you cross a tier threshold (€250, €500, €1000), your future eligible orders earn at the new percentage.

  • Store credit is usually issued once an order is paid and captured; if an order is refunded, related credit may be adjusted.

Some items or promotions may be excluded from earning store credit; any exclusions will be clearly noted on the product page or during a promotion.


5. Using your online store credit

Your store‑credit code, and its "Use by" date where it has one, are in the email that issued the credit. You can also check them any time on our Check your balance page.

  • At checkout on coffeeangel.com, enter your store‑credit code in the single "Discount code or gift card" field and click "Apply". There is no separate store‑credit button and no balance shown automatically.

  • Only one code applies per order, so you can't combine store credit with an eGift Card or a discount code on the same order.

  • Store credit is applied to your order value (excluding shipping and any taxes that cannot be discounted).

Important:

  • Online store credit cannot be used in our cafés or for any café purchase.

  • Online store credit cannot be exchanged for cash or transferred between customer accounts.

  • If an order paid with store credit is refunded, we may return the value to your store‑credit balance rather than to original payment method.


6. Expiry and validity

To keep the programme active and rewards meaningful, the store credit you earn through our rewards programme has an expiry date.

  • Store credit earned through Online Loyalty & Rewards (including tier earnings) is valid for 60 days from the date it is issued.

  • The welcome bonus credit also expires 60 days after issue.

  • Goodwill credit does not expire. If our team issues you credit because something has gone wrong with an order, it stays on your account until you use it.

  • Where credit carries a "Use by" date, that date is in the email that issued the credit, and you can check it any time on our Check your balance page. Once credit has expired it can no longer be used.

Not sure which card you are holding, or how much is left on it? Paste the code on our Check your balance page — it will work out which system the code belongs to and show you the balance.

If we ever extend expiry dates as part of a promotion or special event, we will make this clear in the promotion terms and in any related emails.


7. Online vs café loyalty – what’s the difference?

Coffeeangel currently operates two separate loyalty programmes:

Online Loyalty & Rewards (this article)

  • Applies only to purchases on coffeeangel.com.

  • Rewards are issued as store credit to spend online.

  • Earn rates based on lifetime online spend: 5% at €250+, 7.5% at €500+, 10% at €1000+.

  • Rewards credit has a 60‑day expiry.

Café Loyalty Programme (cafés only)

  • Applies only to purchases made in our cafés.

  • Rewards are issued as café loyalty points collected at the till.

  • Café points and rewards cannot be collected or used online, and online store credit cannot be used in our cafés.

Because these systems are separate, we currently cannot combine, transfer or convert café points into online store credit, or vice versa.

8. Frequently asked questions

Can I use my café points on coffeeangel.com?
No. Café loyalty points are collected and redeemed at the till in our cafés, and can only be used there.

Can I earn online store credit from purchases in a café?
No. Online store credit is earned only from eligible purchases on coffeeangel.com while logged into your online account.

Can I use my online store credit in a Coffeeangel café?
No. Online store credit can only be redeemed on coffeeangel.com.

What happens if my order is refunded?
If your order is refunded, any store credit earned from that order may be reversed. If you used store credit to pay, we may re‑issue that portion as store credit to your account.

Do my online rewards ever change?
We may update our Online Loyalty & Rewards programme from time to time. If we make significant changes, we’ll update this page and, where appropriate, email affected customers in advance.

I ordered online before 10 February 2026. Can I get the welcome bonus?

The welcome bonus only applies to first online orders placed after we launched our new rewards system on 10 February 2026. However, we sometimes issue separate loyalty thank‑you credits for existing customers, so feel free to contact us and we’ll be happy to review your account.
