How It Works

Our café loyalty programme uses your phone number as your account identifier. You earn points on what you buy in our cafés and redeem them for money off at the till.

  • Earn 5 points for every €1 spent in our cafés.

  • Points are earned on food, beverages and retail coffee.

  • 100 points is worth €1.00 off your order.

  • Points expire 12 months after they are earned.

  • Points cannot be earned or redeemed online.


First-Time Registration

Step 1: Place your order in any of our cafés

Step 2: Before payment enter your mobile phone number on the customer display screen,

Step 3: Choose your payment method:


If Paying by Card (Credit or Debit):

✓ Your card is automatically linked to your phone number

✓ You'll receive an SMS confirmation

✓ Future purchases with this same card will automatically earn points - NO phone number needed

✓ You'll receive a text message each time points are added


If Paying by Cash:

✓ You must enter your phone number each time to earn points

✓ Your points are linked to your phone number


Adding Additional Cards to Your Account

Want to earn points when using different cards?

Step 1: During checkout, enter your phone number on the customer display BEFORE paying

Step 2: Pay with your new card

Step 3: This card is now linked - future purchases with it will automatically earn points


How to Earn Points

  • Earn 5 points for every €1 spent

  • Points expire 12 months after they are earned

You earn 5 points for every €1 you spend in our cafés. 100 points is worth €1.00 off your order. Points expire 12 months after they are earned.

To redeem, ask our team at the till in any of our cafés and they will apply your points to your order. Any points you do not use stay in your account for your next visit.


FAQs

Q: Do I need to give my phone number every time?

A: No. Once your credit or debit card is linked, points are added automatically. Only enter your phone number when:

  • Enrolling for the first time

  • Paying with cash

  • Adding a new card to your account

Q: Why didn't I get points?

A: Check if you're using a linked card. If using a new card or cash, you need to enter your phone number first.

Q: Do my points expire?

A: Yes. Café loyalty points expire 12 months after they are earned.

Q: Can I use this online?

A: No, this is for purchases in our cafés only. Online orders on coffeeangel.com earn store credit through a separate scheme — see Online Loyalty & Rewards.

Q: I received an SMS saying I have enough points for 8 levels of rewards — what does this mean?

A: It means you have built up more points than you need for a single reward. Every 100 points is worth €1.00 off. Ask our team at the till in any of our cafés and they will apply your points to your order.

To redeem, visit any of our cafés and ask our team to apply your points at the till. Your discount is applied using your linked card or your phone number, and any points you do not use stay in your account for your next visit. You can check your balance any time on our secure loyalty page.
