To see each credit on your account and its own "Use by" date, open your Gift Wallet. Your gift cards and transaction history are there too. You will need to be logged in.

No — they're on separate systems, so they can't cross over and balances can't transfer. An online eGift Card works only at coffeeangel.com; Café Gift Cards and Coffee Card Bundles work only in our cafés.

Online eGift Cards, Café Gift Cards and Coffee Card Bundles never expire.
Store credit is different. Credit from loyalty rewards or a welcome offer is valid for 60 days from the date it is issued and carries a "Use by" date. Goodwill credit, which our team issues if something has gone wrong with an order, does not expire.
A balance can be made up of several credits with different "Use by" dates, so there is no single expiry date for a whole balance. To see each credit and the date it must be used by, open your Gift Wallet. You will need to be logged in. To check the total left on a single code without logging in, use our Check your balance page.

You can't use online store credit or loyalty rewards to buy an Online eGift Card. Please pay by card.

Online eGift Cards are sent by email as soon as your order completes. If the recipient hasn't received theirs, please ask them to check the following:
Spam or Junk folder — most email providers filter automated emails here automatically.
Promotions, Other, or Updates tabs — Gmail and some other providers may sort eGift Card emails into these tabs.
Corporate or company email quarantine — if the recipient uses a business email address (e.g. a company domain), their employer's security filters may block or quarantine automated emails like eGift Cards. This is common with large organisations. We recommend asking them to check with their IT team, or providing a personal email address instead.
Search their inbox — try searching for "Coffeeangel" or "gift card" in case the email has been filed or sorted automatically.
If the email address entered at checkout was incorrect, please contact us with your order number and the correct email address and we will resend your eGift Card straight away.
Send a Coffee works differently — it is created by hand, Monday to Friday, 7am to 2pm, so it is not instant.

We can't move a balance between the online and café systems, so a card can't be converted from one to the other. What we can do is refund the original order and help you buy the right one. Email shop@coffeeangel.com with your order number(s) and tell us which you need — Online eGift Cards for coffeeangel.com, or Café Gift Cards and Coffee Card Bundles for use in our cafés — and we'll sort the refund and point you to the right card.
