At Coffeeangel, we want you to love your purchase. If something isn’t right, here’s how we’ll make it right.

Your EU Consumer Rights

You have the right to return most online purchases within 14 days of delivery for any reason. For “change of mind” returns, you are responsible for return shipping. For faulty, damaged, or incorrect items, Coffeeangel covers return shipping. Refunds are issued within 14 days of receiving your return or proof of shipment.

Exceptions

Coffee - whole bean or ground, personalised items, and digital goods are non-returnable unless faulty.


Under EU law (Directive 2011/83/EU), you have:

  • 14-day cooling-off period: Return most items bought online for any reason within 14 days of receiving them.

  • 30-day delivery guarantee: Receive your order within 30 days unless otherwise agreed.

  • 2-year protection against faults: Get repairs, replacements, or refunds for faulty items for up to 2 years.


How Our Policy Works

Non-Faulty Returns (Change of Mind)

  • Timeframe: 14 days from delivery

  • Condition: Unused, in original packaging with tags

  • Refund: Full item price (excluding original shipping)

  • Return shipping: Customer’s responsibility

Faulty or Damaged Items

  • Timeframe: Report within 14 days of discovery (up to 2 years)

  • Refund/Replacement: Free return shipping + full refund/replacement

  • Proof: Photos/video of issue may be required

Exceptions

  • Perishables (e.g., coffee beans)

  • Custom/personalised items

  • Digital products (e-books, gift cards)


How to Start a Return

Email shop@coffeeangel.com with your order number and reason for return, or log in to your account and follow the returns process.

  1. Log in to your account:

    1. In the "Email" field, enter your email address, and then click "Continue".

    2. In your email account, open the email sent from our store and copy the six-digit verification code included in the email.

    3. Go back to the online store, and then enter a six-digit verification code.

    4. Click "Request return" for the order that you want to submit the return for.

  2. If your order has more than one item, then select the items that you want to return.

  3. Select a return reason and add a note for the store.

  4. Click "Request return".

If your return request is approved and requires shipping, then you receive an email with shipping instructions (and - in the case of faulty goods - a return shipping label). After the product is returned and assessed that it is either faulty or unused and fit for resale, you receive a refund.


Return Shipping

  • For change of mind returns, you are responsible for return shipping costs.

  • For faulty, damaged, or incorrect items, Coffeeangel covers return shipping.


Refunds are issued within 14 days of receiving your returned goods or proof of return shipment.

We aim to handle all returns responsibly, prioritising repair, reuse, or recycling of returned goods wherever possible, in line with EU sustainability principles.
