It is hard to beat a French Press for ease of use.
We would recommend the Bodum 4-cup Chambord.

Also another very simple, clean and super easy brewer is the Clever Drippper.
Though the coffee may not be as strong as the French Press.

If you are prefer a stronger brew, towards espresso,
you may want to consider a stove top Moka Pot.
