The first question, is do you or the person you are buying for, like your coffee black or do you tend to add milk?
If you prefer your coffee with milk, we'd suggest to go with our Fórsa Gála, or one of our seasonal blends, such as Su Nollag or Eiri, as these have been created to taste wonderful whether you brew espresso or filter, and taste beautiful whether served black or with milk.
If you prefer your coffee black then we'd suggest you choose from any of our single origins. We always try to have two on shelf, that are distinct in flavour.
Which coffee for how you drink it
Espresso. Fórsa Gála is our house espresso and it is the blend we pull in all our cafés. If you drink espresso straight, this is the one we would recommend.
Americano. Fórsa Gála again. For reference, we use approximately 18g of coffee for both our regular and tall Americanos.
Cappuccino, latte and other milk drinks. We use Fórsa Gála for all our milk-based drinks in the cafés and we would happily recommend it for milk drinks at home.
Aeropress. The Aeropress is very flexible and almost any coffee can be brewed with it, so it really comes down to your taste. If you take milk or sugar, we would suggest Fórsa Gála or Sú Beatha. If you drink it black, any of our coffees will suit.
